Help Support Children With Serious Illness
Brades’ Place exists to help children with life-altering illnesses live rich and fulfilling lives by providing specialized medical care for the whole child (physical, emotional, and spiritual) and their family.
Many of the services we provide are not covered by medical insurance and rely on grants and charitable donations for funding.
Help Support Their Parents
No one can be a caregiver all the time. Often, that’s exactly what is demanded of parents with medically complex children.
Brades’ Place provides parents with reprieve from the duties of caregiving, and connection to other parents who can relate to the unique stressors they experience while raising a child with life long illness.
Our respite services and parent events are primarily funded by grants and charitable donations.
Help Support Their Siblings
Having a sibling with medical complexities brings a host of unique blessings and challenges. Often these siblings feel overlooked and isolated, and experience trauma related to intense medical situations.
Our sibling services offer connections to other children who can relate to having a medically complex sibling, and individualized services that strengthen personal resilience.
These sibling events and individual services are funded by grants and charitable donations.
